In this tour you'll visit Titicaca the highest navigable lake in the world, the ancient capital of the Inca empire Cusco, traveling the sacred valley that preserve remarkable Inca archaeology sites, trekking the Inca trail that runs across mountain sides and contains many buildings, temples and strategic observatories along the way, until the Inca citadel of Machu Picchu. We end this Peru vacation trip with a tour guide to the Amazon Rain forest, spending two nights at an authentic jungle lodge, where we are going to have excursions to the Sandoval Lake, Monkey Island and we will visit a macaw clay lick.
Peru Vacation Itinerary
Day 1 Lima
Arrival in Lima at any time in the day.
Day 2 Puno
Around 11:00 am., our private van will take you to Lima airport to catch a flight towards Puno.
Day 3-4 Lake Titicaca/Taquile, Amantani and Uros Island
Lake Titicaca is the highest elevated navigable lake in the world. We will visit Uros Islands, home of the oldest civilization of the region.
Day 5: Cusco
Early morning a private van will pick you up for a six hours bus ride to Cusco.
Day 6: Sacred Valley Pisaq and Ollantaytambo
We will pick you up from the hotel at 8:00 am and drive towards the Sacred Valley for a complete guided tour.
Day 7-10 Inca Trail
The Inca Trail, which is part of the Machu Picchu Historical Sanctuary, has been designated as a world heritage natural and Cultural site.

Day 11 Cusco
Day off, optional day activities.
Day 12-14 Amazon Jungle-Tambopata
To finalize with your Peru vacation tour, we will spend two days in one of the most spectacular reserves of the Amazon Jungle, the Tambopata Reserve.
Day 15 Lima
Flight back home. If your flight departures late in the evening, we can organize a city tour or give you some tips to shop.
What is included?
- Meals Included: All breakfasts, 8 lunches and 6 dinners.
- Transfers: All transfer inside Peru after your arrival. Is not included in the price transfer from the Airport to the hotel the day at your arrival and the last day when you leave Peru. This can be arranging for 20 USD dollars per person.
- Accommodation: Hotels three stars 7 nights, hostel 2 stars one night at Ollantaytambo, guest house 1 night at Amantani Island, camping 3 nights in the Inca trail and 2 in the any other alternative trek, jungle lodge 2 nights.
- Transport: Public buses, local flights, train, motor boat, boats, and hiking.
- Titicaca: Guided tour on Taquile, Amantani and the Uros Islands, one night accommodation in a guest house.
- Inca Trail: 4 days Inca Trail hike with local guide, 3 nights camping, all camping gear, sleeping pads, cook and porters and a tour guide in Machu Picchu, entrance fees, train tickets from Aguas Calientes to Cusco.
- Jungle Trip: 2 days in the Amazon, local guide 2 nights lodging.
- Group leader: We provide a guide who will assist you in each city that you will visit,they will give information and tips during your visit to Peru until you will leave Peru.
- Local guides while on The Inca Trail, at Machu Picchu Tambopata and Titicaca tour (English-speaking).
What is not included?
- Hotels and meals during the days that passengers want to stay in Cusco, Puno or any of the cities, instead of continuing with the trips.
- Transfer from the Airport to the hotel the day at your arrival and the last day when you leave Peru. This can be arrange for 20 USD dollars per person.

Airport tax: Upon departing to any airport in Peru, one has to pay a departure tax. This usually has to be done in person and cannot be prearranged with a tour company or airline. The taxes for international flights leaving Peru is USD 30.25,- or equivalent in local currency, to be paid only in cash, for domestic flights leaving any local airport is USD 6.15.- or equivalent in local currency.
- City tour or any other activities not mention in the tour description.
- Sleeping bags during the trekking tours (you may rent for 4 dollars a day).
What to bring?
- Travel documents: passport, visas, travel insurance certificate, air tickets (with photocopies).
- Any vaccination certificates required.
- Money: traveler’s cheques/cash/credit or debit card, money belt.
- Binoculars, photo or video camera, cover for backpacks, fleece top, windproof/waterproof jacket, small towel and swim wear, 4 shirts/t-shirts, fleece top, sun hat, 1 pair of shorts, 2 pairs of long trousers, 1 pair hiking pants/track pants, hiking boots/ sturdy walking shoes, sport sandals, sun block, sunglasses, watch or alarm clock, flashlight.
- Refillable water bottle and water purification tablets - No plastic water bottles (from bottled water you can purchase at a supermarket) are allowed in the Inca Trail. Hard plastic bottles sold on camping stores are OK.
- First-aid kit (should contain lip salve, aspirin, band Aids, anti-histamine, Imodium or similar tablets for mild cases of diarrhea, re-hydration powder, extra prescription drugs you may be taking).
- Day pack to carry your personal items during the day and the hiking tour.
For the Inca trail
Sleeping bag (menus 10 degrees) you can rent this for 12 USD at the office, mosquito repellent, hiking shoes or trainers, hat, socks, worm clothes, gloves, woolen hat to cover the ears, rain coat, sun block, flashlight, refillable water bottle and water purification tablets.
